The Pool is now open
The Bluebonnet Highlands Swimming Pool opened for use on Saturday, May 1! Despite all the delays, the pool is looking great and is sure to be enjoyed all summer long! It will be open throughout the summer from 8 AM until 8 PM daily. While enjoying the pool, please remember a few simples rules:
- There is no lifeguard on duty. All use is at your own risk.
- Children are not to be left unattended at any time under any circumstances! Anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 21.

This is a private pool -- only homeowners are allowed to use the pool. A homeowner may bring up to two individual guests per home at any time. Make sure the gates closes securely behind you as you enter and exit.
- Return all pool furniture to its original location to help keep the pool area neat. Take care when using the furniture - your dues paid for it and also pay for repairs!
- No running or horseplay is allowed.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the pool area. Be sure to clean up after yourself and deposit all trash in the receptacles provided. Glass containers are prohibited.
- Showers are provided. Everyone is encouraged to rinse off prior to getting in the pool to help maintain the water quality.
- Restrooms are provided, and baby changing tables are located in each one.
- Infants and toddlers are required to wear a swim diaper.
- Pool Hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Remember, this is YOUR pool! By using common courtesy and following remembering to follow all rules, everyone can enjoy the summer at the pool together! If you see something that you suspect should not be taking place, please call (225) 678-1505 or the Sheriff's Office immediately.
